Top Management Conclave

Despite the tepid endorsement of the Copenhagen Accord by several major parties, its implications are likely to have far reaching impact.  Stating this at a Top Management Conclave organised by PetroFed on February 10, 2010 at New Delhi, Dr. Prodipto Ghosh, Distinguished Fellow, TERI; Member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Climate Change; former Secretary, Ministry of Environment & Forests and a Member of the Indian Negotiating Team at Copenhagen, added that the fate of the US Cap & Trade Bill may have significant impact.

Welcoming participants earlier, Director General, PetroFed, Mr. A. K. Arora opined that we may witness a dramatic change in technology adaptation and innovation and need to prepare ourselves for this change.

The detailed presentation by Dr. Prodipto Ghosh was followed by an intense and insatiable hour-long open session when Dr. Ghosh patiently answered the unending stream of questions from nearly 60 senior industry executives.

Chairman, PetroFed & Chairman, IndianOil, Mr. Sarthak Behuria, who joined later because of an unscheduled ministerial meeting, presented a memento to Dr. Ghosh.
