PetroFed associated with Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe) in organising the Energy and Climate Summit-2009 on February 3-4, 2009 at New Delhi.

On each day there were three sessions besides the inaugural on the opening day and the valedictory session on the closing day addressing the theme of “Meeting New Challenges”.  During the inauguration the presidential address was delivered by Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon’ble Union Minister for Power while the inaugural address was delivered by Shri Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission.  Shri Vilas Muttemwar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for New & Renewable Energy delivered the Special Address.  Participants were welcomed by Dr. Kirit Parikh, Member, Planning Commission and a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Jyoti Parikh, Executive Director, IRADe.
